Typically, the X-axis can be the category type axis. You can create the category type axis for the X-axis by creating the <CategoryAxis> element tag as a child node of the <horizontalAxis> element tag.

If your data have a very large range of values, then you can use the logarithmic scale for the Y-axis rather than a standard linear scale. You can create the logarithmic type axis ( Log Axis ) for the Y-axis by creating the <LogAxis> element tag as a child node of the <verticalAxis> element tag.
