The X-axis can be the time-series category type axis ( DateTime Axis ). You can create the time-series category type axis ( DateTime Axis ) for the X-axis by creating the <DateTimeAxis> element tag as a child node of the <horizontalAxis> element tag.

If your data have a very large range of values, then you can use the logarithmic scale for the Y-axis rather than a standard linear scale. You can create the logarithmic type axis ( Log Axis ) for the Y-axis by creating the <LogAxis> element tag as a child node of the <verticalAxis> element tag.

DateTimeAxis

dataUnits The dataUnits attribute determines the unit of data. The valid values are "milliseconds", "seconds", "minutes", "hours", "days", "weeks", "months", "years".
labelUnits The labelUnits attribute determines the unit of axis labels. The valid values are "milliseconds", "seconds", "minutes", "hours", "days", "weeks", "months", "years" .
interval The interval attribute determines the interval between two consecutive labels of the datatime axis. If there is no enough space, then this value will be ignored, and the interval will be calculated automatically.
padding The padding attribute controls the margin of the chart.

LogAxis

minimum The minimum attribute determines the minimum value of the log axis.
interval The interval attribute determines the interval as the multiplier of 10 between two consecutive labels of the log axis. e.g. if you set as interval="2", then the interval will be 100.
