You can display the background image with the grid lines by creating the <GridLines> and <Image> element tags as a child node of the <backgroundElements> element tag, and setting the transparency of the image ( e.g. alpha="0.5" ).

source The source attribute is to set the URL path of the image file.
maintainAspectRatio The maintainAspectRatio attribute determines whether or not to preserve the original aspect ratio of the image.
alpha The alpha attribute is to set the transparency of the image.
