You can display the background grid lines in the chart by creating the <GridLines> element tag as a child node of the <backgroundElements> element tag.

If you want to display the vertical grid lines, then set as direction="vertical" and use <verticalStroke> to style the vertical line.

direction The direction attribute is to set the direction of the grid lines. The valid values are "horizontal", "vertical", "both".
verticalChangeCount The verticalChangeCount attribute is to set how many times the color of the grid lines will change when direction="vertical".
horizontalShowOrigin The horizontalShowOrigin attribute determines whether or not to display the horizontal axis.
verticalFill The verticalFill attribute is to set the first fill color of the grid lines when direction="vertical".
verticalAlternateFill The verticalAlternateFill attribute is to set the alternate fill color of the grid lines when direction="vertical".
