A wing chart ( or tornado chart ) is a special type of bar chart ( or column chart ), where two bars ( or columns ) are spread over both sides of the axis. The wing chart is useful to compare two categories of data and to provide decision makers with a quick overview.
The <Bar2DWingChart> element tag is used to create a bar-type wing chart in KoolChart, and the series element tag for the bar-type wing chart is <Bar2DWingSeries>.
If you want to create a bar stacked wing chart with connecting lines, set the value of the lineToEachItems attribute in the <Bar2DWingSeries> element tag to "true".
... <Bar2DWingChart type="stacked" ... > ... <series> <Bar2DWingSeries xField="group1" xFieldOpp="group2" lineToEachItems="true" ... > ... </Bar2DWingSeries> <Bar2DWingSeries xField="individual1" xFieldOpp="individual2" lineToEachItems="true" ... > ... </Bar2DWingSeries> </series> ... </Bar2DWingChart> ...
|type||The type attribute determines the representation type of multiple series bar chart. The valid values are "clustered", "overlaid", "stacked" and "100%". The default value is "clustered".|
|xField||The xField attribute determines the field name of the right wing of the horizontal axis ( horizontalAxis ).|
|xFieldOpp||The xFieldOpp attribute determines the field name of the left wing of the horizontal axis ( horizontalAxis ).|
|lineToEachItems||The lineToEachItems attribute determines whether or not to draw the connecting line between data points.|
